The SICTAS Annual Report on Emerging Technologies: Planning for Change draws on the investigations undertaken for the Strategic ICT Advisory Service (SICTAS) by Education.au. The investigations provide the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) with strategic advice to assist policy makers to address the implications of implementation of new technologies in education and training.
The SICTAS reports into collaborative learning, workforce capability, and national software infrastructure provide evidence to support a role for Australian Government to ensure the best return on investments in ICT for education and training.
