2004 Calendar for Australian Schools Launched (23 February)

For immediate release 23 February 2004

The 2004 Calendar for Australian Schools is now officially launched.

The calendar, available both online and as a colorful A1-sized wall calendar, lists 300 significant Australian and international days, weeks, years and decades, as well as other significant events. The calendar can be used to support classroom and whole school activities and assist teachers and librarians in their planning and preparation.

It's the most comprehensive Australian-school-relevant calendar available, and it's free.

The calendar events have been compiled by education.au's EdNA Online staff and has been produced in association with myinternet and a number of important sponsors and distributed by Curriculum Corporation and the Australian Government Department of Education, Science and Training [DEST]. A full list of sponsors is below.

EdNA Online is a joint initiative of the State, Territory and Australian Governments through their education departments, and is managed by education.au limited.

The 2004 Calendar for Australian Schools has been distributed to every school principal in Australia and should arrive in your school shortly for display in the library or staff room.

The online version of the calendar is available at EdNA Online.

The Calendar is also available as an RSS feed that you can add to an RSS reader and have on your desktop.
