Adult Learning Australia Inc.
Adult Learning Australia (ALA)is a national association whose mission is to advance a learning society. It has members in all states and territories who reflect the extraordinary diversity of adult learning. They include adult educators in universities, TAFEs, and community education providers; as well as community workers, librarians, individual tutors and trainers, volunteers and students. The national office is based in Canberra. ALA is funded by a grant from the Australian National Training Authority, membership dues, subscriptions and project revenue.
ALIA
The Australian Library and Information Association [ALIA] is the professional organisation for the Australian library and information services sector. It seeks to empower the profession in the development, promotion and delivery of quality library and information services to the nation, through leadership, advocacy and mutual support.

The Australian College of Educators advances the education profession nationally across all sectors and levels for the individual and collective success of Australia's educators.
Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER)
The mission of ACER at http://www.acer.edu.au/ is to create and disseminate knowledge and tools that can be used to improve learning. Underlying this mission is its belief in the importance of ongoing, lifelong learning both for the fulfilment of individuals and for the well-being of society, and its commitment to the use of systematic investigation, evaluation and critical reflection in the search for ways to improve learning. As an independent, not-for-profit organisation, ACER is able to bring a high level of expertise and objectivity to its research.
Early Childhood of Australian Inc. (ECA)
ECA at http://www.earlychildhoodaustralia.org.au/ is a non-profit organisation that acts in the interests of children from birth to eight years of age and for older children in outside school hours care. It actively promotes the provision of high quality services for all young children and their families. ECA is also a leading specialist publisher of early childhood literature and publications. These publications include the Australian Journal of Early Childhood, Every Child magazine and the Research in Practice Series.
Collections Australia Network (CAN)
The Collections Australia Network (CAN) portal is intended to be the public gateway to collecting institutions across Australia including the small to medium regional institutions. Besides providing access to nationwide information on Australia's cultural heritage, members of the public can also access an individual institution's own CAN website to explore their specific content, including collection descriptions and objects, exhibitions and general events, news, useful tools, links, resources for people working in the sector, stories, Discovernet (educational material) and MySpace (manage your own portfolio of objects).
Culture and Recreation Portal
An initiative of the Australian Federal Department of Communications, Information Technology and the Arts, the Culture and Recreation Portal at http://www.cultureandrecreation.gov.au/ provides access to online services and information in the fields of culture and recreation, from all levels of government and the non-government sector. The 'What's new' service presents events and resources from the culture and recreation sectors, and the 'Articles' section covers specific topics about Australian history and culture.
The National Centre for Vocational Education Research
The National Centre for Vocational Education Research, is Australia's leading provider of research and statistical information about vocational education and training (VET). Its vision is for policy and practice in vocational education to be informed by a sound base of high-quality research and analytical evidence. It undertakes a strategic program of VET research; collects and analyses national VET statistics and survey data and communicates research findings and data analysis.
NetAlert
NetAlert is Australia's Internet safety advisory body, established in 1999 by the Australian Government. NetAlert's role is to promote a safer Internet experience, particularly for young people and their families.
NetAlert is a not-for-profit community organisation providing free practical Internet safety advice, information and resources to Australian families and community.
NetAlert has a range of services which can be accessed free of charge, including distribution of Internet safety materials and an Internet safety start-up kit. NetAlert operates a national toll free Internet safety help line, which can be contacted on 1800 880 176 or by email at http://www.netalert.gov.au/forms/feedback_form.php.

TVET Australia Limited
TVET Australia Limited is a ministerial company owned by the Commonwealth, State and Territory Ministers responsible for Training. TVET Australia was established by the Ministerial Council for Vocational and Technical Education (MCVTE) in November 2005 to provide responsive and high quality services to support the National Training System.
