Staff
The company has a staff of over 100, largely based at head office in Adelaide. Its staff has expertise in each of the education and training sectors, and the career sector. The technical staff has knowledge and expertise in both proprietary enterprise solutions and in a range of open source and open standards-based solutions.
Management team
- Greg Black, Chief Executive Officer - Greg as CEO provides leadership and direction in the development, enhancement, standards and use of online distributed and managed national education network services.
- Nancye Stanelis, Chief Operating Officer - Nancye's current responsibilities include the agency's three year business plan, the establishment of internal quality systems and the effective allocation of resources to meet the goals of the business plan.
- Garry Putland, General Manager - Business Development - Garry is currently responsible for the development of new services and business opportunities for Education.au. He works closely with peak bodies and national/state organisations.
- Michael Liddy, Chief Technology Officer - Michael is responsible for the technical capability of the agency. This involves working with the various software development teams and the internal support team that provides services for the company and our clients.
- Jerry Leeson, Manager - Business Solutions - Jerry's role involves work on the development and implementation of new opportunities for the company. He also manages the edu.au Domain Registrar.
- Suzanne Curyer, Business Manager - Career Services - Suzanne Curyer joined Education.au as the Manager of Career Services in 2003. Suzanne provides strategic leadership and management in the development of national online career information and exploration services for Education.au stakeholders.
- Mark Tranthim-Fryer, Manager - Education and Training - Mark is currently responsible for a range of Australian online services including Education Network Australia (edna), Groups, the Government Education Portal, Global Education and a wide range of related e-learning projects and alliances.
- Kim Edgar, Manager - Information Services - Kim manages a team who work with edna, flexiblelearning.net.au and other web services.
- Navaratnarajah Rajaramanan - Prior to his appointment as Chief Finance Officer, Navaratnarajah (or Raj as he's more easily known) was CFO at Austraining International, the government agency which manages overseas education and training projects.
