National Learning Marketplace for VET
Would you be interested in a national digital marketplace where you could promote, sell and deliver courses?
The Australian Government’s Department of Education Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) has commissioned Education.au a not-for-profit, ministerially owned company to develop a concept for an online marketplace which could bring together learners and providers in the VET sector. This concept is called the National Learning Marketplace (NLM).
In the proposed NLM learners would be able to search for courses, seek career and course advice, contact RTOs, join an online community of fellow students, enrol and pay for courses online and study the online components of their courses.
Providers would be able to find e-learning resources, access assistance with developing their e-learning capability, promote their courses, manage their online enrolments and payment for courses and deliver the online components of their courses.
