Calendar for Australian Schools - one in every school in Australia (10 March)
The free EdNA Online '2005 Calendar for Australian Schools' has now been delivered to every school in Australia.
The calendar includes more than 350 significant Australian and international days, weeks, years and decades, as well as other events related to celebrations, health, education, training, careers, culture and sport.
The Calendar can be used to support classroom and whole-school activities and assist teachers and librarians in their planning and preparation.
The events listed have been compiled by education.au 's EdNA Online staff and can also be accessed at the website at http://www.edna.edu.au/schools/calendar
"The 'Calendar for Australian Schools' is the most comprehensive collection of international, national and local cultural, community and commemorative events of interest to Australian schools," says Mr Gerry White, CEO of education.au, the national ICT agency that manages EdNA Online. "It has proved to be enormously popular and is one of the most visited sections of the EdNA Online website. The provision of an A2 wall calendar to every Australian school now also means that teachers and librarians can put the calendar in a public place for everyone to see all year."
